A reliable home for football in every season
Bandon AFC plans to develop a 100m × 60m full-size astro playing surface on the club’s middle pitch. Planning permission was granted on 26 August 2026 after the club assessed the available options.
The project will reduce weather disruption and give teams, schools and community groups more dependable access throughout the year.
Football for every age and ability
Bandon AFC already gives people across West Cork a place to play, learn and belong. Better facilities will let that work grow.
From U5s to walking football
Girls and boys can start at the School of Excellence and continue through youth, adult, over-33s and over-55s football.
A genuinely inclusive club
The All Stars group supports children with additional needs, including autism, Down syndrome and wheelchair users.
A resource for West Cork
The club works with schools, first responders, scouts and local community events across Bandon and surrounding towns and villages.
Built for the whole community
Bandon AFC is more than a place to play matches. It is where children take their first steps in football, volunteers give their time and families build lasting connections.
From youth coaching and school partnerships to the All Stars programme for players with additional needs, the club works to make football welcoming and accessible. Better facilities will give every group more dependable space to train, develop and enjoy the game together.
